Tsunami Emergency Response Plan for Kudat, Sabah (2016)

Developed in collaboration with researchers from the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia), and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), the aim of the plan is to empower Kudat’s local agencies and communities in preparing for a large-scale tsunami disaster whose threat is present in the region. The TERP includes information on the research background, explanation on the procedures involved during a tsunami disaster, and safe evacuation plan for Kudat’s locals within the tsunami hazard zones.
